We’re originally from Finland but have lived most of our lives on the Mediterranean coast. Now we are bringing our 20+ years of joint experience in the industry to charming Lisbon.

Our Niskala Story
Niskala is a surname from a village in Lapland known for its free-flowing rapids with whitefish and red wooden houses. It’s also the long-lost maiden name of our cherished grandmother and mother, Marketta.
Marketta loved making home a space filled with all things beautiful and meaningful. She always made a point of making home a sacred space where to create memories of life’s big and small moments.
So in honour of her and our ancestry, Casa Niskala is born. A home decor and interior design service that helps people make their safe spaces their own.
